McBride Will Boss Around Smith in Robot

Chi McBride (Boston Public) will play the police lieutenant boss of Will Smith in the movie I, Robot for director Alex Proyas. Based on the famous story collection by Isaac Asimov, "Robot" is a science fiction about a detective (Smith) investigating a crime that might have been perpetrated by a robot, even though the three prevailing laws of the robot society suggest that such a crime is impossible. The film costars Bridget Moynahan and Alan Tudyk. McBride's character urges the detective to close the case to lessen political fallout.
