Dimension, Twohy Get Glass Hand Dimension Films has optioned "Demon With a Glass Hand," a story based on a 1963 episode of the television series The Outer Limits written by science fiction and fantasy author Harlan Ellison. Dimension has already picked David Twohy (Pitch Black) to direct. Twohy's fee is reported to be in the low-seven figures. The details of Ellison's deal were not revealed, but the famous author will write the script himself. Twohy intends the film to be his next project, though no start date has been set. "Demon" is about Trent, a man from the future who is sent to the present without any memory of who he is, where he's from or the secret he possesses. Trent is then ruthlessly pursued by a group of extraterrestrials. Robert Culp starred as Trent in the original "Demon" episode of Outer Limits. |
