Kochalka Exhibited in Lisbon
Cartoonist/musician James Kochalka (Quit Your Job, Carrot Boy the Beautiful) has been invited to exhibit his work at the Bedeteca of Lisbon museum, which is the only museum in Portugal permanently devoted to comics. Bedeteca also organizes an annual convention devoted to the comic art form. Kochalka's exhibit will run from May 18 through June 3 and will showcase a variety of Kochalka's original artwork from the comic book that accompanies Monkey Vs. Robot and Carrot Boy the Beautiful CDs. Bedeteca will also have listening stations where people can read Kochalka's graphic novel Kissers and listen to the CD at the same time.
